SCHOOL FOR LIFE FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATION WORKING IN RURAL UGANDA, EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES TO HELP THEMSELVES AND CREATE THEIR OWN OPPORTUNITIES.

To do that, they build schools to provide communities with a quality education, including primary and secondary schooling, vocational training and other services – such as employment and healthcare solutions.

How Dural Rotary Helps

In 2010 Dural Rotary met two very special young people from our local Dural area, Annabelle Chauncey and David Levitt. They had recently co-founded the School of Life in Uganda. They had previously spent time there and saw a great need and opportunity to help create a better future for the local children and their families.

Their amazing vision was backed by a well constructed and realistic plan, and Dural Rotary was pleased to support them in their efforts. Since then we have supported the school, paying for the education and life needs of two students a year.

Early in 2018, we received some very exciting news that those first students had
passed their Primary School exams and were now looking forward to Secondary School.

Dural Rotary has subsequently approved funding to assist with the construction of a Senior School. Learn more about School for Life on their website.
